The CLE program presented some of the novel issues posed by digital art and the minting, publishing, and selling of NFTs (non-fungible tokens). NFTs are currently unregulated and often seen by some as an opportunity to exploit the market. But these new creative and investment tools come with a variety of economic and legal risks. The panel discussed such risks from IP and security law perspectives.
